What is the best top for making a cornhole or bags board set?
I want to make a bags set, or some people call it cornhole. im talking about the game where you throw bean bags at a board with a hole in it. but i am wondering what is the best way to construct the top? i want my boards to not bounce like crazy and have the right amount of slide and the right amount of stick. so what is the right wood? and what kind of finish should be put on it?

You are going to want to use 3/4" thick plywood with an A or B type veneer on the top side (such as ACX, BCX, ADX, or BDX). With a nice smooth veneer, a simple spray paint job is all you need to finish it.
