I just made a cornhole set and it has been sanded and primed. is there any speacial paint that i need to use to paint the set??
M G has it right. Just want to add a bit to what he said…
If you are just painting your boards, but not applying decals or fancy paint designs, you can get away with 1-2 coats of primer & 2 coats latex outdoor paint (semi-gloss).
Generally, people would apply 2 – 5 coats of a polyacrylic in order to protect decals or intricate paint jobs.

If you're into cornholing, you can pick whatever color turns you on.

I would use a primer followed by a couple coats of paint – of your desired sheen – and sealed with a good, thick coat of polyurethene for durability. Make sure it's the kind that dries clear and don't stir in any bubbles.
