Well let me ask you this, if Petreaus had reported that the Iraqe war was a complete failure and that we should leave immediately would you still be behind him? It’s funny you say that. Chuck Hagel (republican senator) doesn’t believe the surge is working. The British (our biggest ally) doesn’t believe the surge is working. The study of the Iraqi government gave it failing marks. The surge is working in the sense of wasting billions of dollars and costing thousands of lives.
