It has been dubbed the “Shaggy Method” – based on the name of the original poster. The actual thread is linked in the sources area. It’s best you read that, as there is quite a bit of information.
If your logo is complex, as most seem to be, a lot of people are using vinyl logos on their boards – then polyurethane to seal them up.
