Does Anyone Know The Seam Allowance For Cornhole Beanbags?

1 September 2009 3 Comments

I’m making my own bean bags, I know they are suppose to be 6X6 but should they have a standard 5/8 seam allowance or larger to allow more reinforcement.

If you start with two 7X7 pieces of fabric, then allow 1/4″ seams (double stiched) that will give you bags about 6.5 X 6.5. Then once filled with corn they will be nearly exactly 6X6.
    Hope this helps!
